I am currently a student at the University of Georgia earning a degree in Family and Consumer Science Education. I cannot wait to get in the field and share my love for family and consumer sciences. Until then, I am enjoying my studies and blogging along.
I come from a crazy family but my wonderful boyfriend balances my life and I love that it works that way. A lot of times he thinks I am crazy - wonders why I am blogging all the time - but let's be honest, he's a little crazy too!

I want to enlighten my readers with unique ideas that they may not think is possible in design && that is inexpensive!! I may still be in school but everything else in my life is way ahead. I am constantly adding and adjusting the look of my home which is not a common activity of a college student but of course, I am on a budget so things have to be affordable.
My mom owns a shop and repaints and distresses furniture. This is a look I love and I am certain you will see it a lot. My mom is truly the best at custom painting furniture AND putting together a great look. She is my inspiration and I learn from her.
